About Elektor International Media

Elektor International Media BV is the publisher of the international electronics magazine Elektor. In addition to the English edition of Elektor, EIM is responsible for the Dutch, German, French and Spanish editions. Several licensed partners also produce versions of Elektor in Portuguese (European and Brazilian), Greek and Swedish. Elektor is available in more than 50 countries, and each month it reaches a million people with a passionate interest in electronics. Our slogan is thus quite rightly ‘Electronics worldwide’.

Elektor International Media also produces other products for advanced electronics specialists and enthusiasts. Each year our team of more than 45 employees is responsible for many special items, books, CDs and DVD-ROMs, kits and modules, microcontrollers, workshops and seminars.

The head office of Elektor International Media BV,  Elektor House, is located in the 13th-century Limbricht Castle, approx. 30 kms from Maastricht, The Netherlands.

Zhomer Media Business

Elektor International Media BV is a fully owned subsidiary of Zhomer Media Business, which is one of the business activities of the entrepreneurial couple Don Akkermans and Ingrid Mulder (www.zhomermediabusiness.nl). In 2006, Zhomer Media Business acquired the former Segment BV (publisher of Elektor at that time) from Wolters Kluwer. In addition to Elektor International Media, the holdings of Zhomer Media Business include Lenthe Publishers in Amstelveen (Netherlands) (www.lenthe.nl), which publishes Marketing Tribune, Sponsor Magazine, FM, and other titles.
