It's probably a bit soon to ask this, seeing as the article has only just been published, and I'm probably being immensely lazy, but anyway - can anyone recommend a specific oven that is available in the UK?

I appreciate that a specification is given in the article (oven to be fully analogue, mechanical thermostat and clock, able to reach at least 225°C, probably rated at >= 1.5kW), but I'd hate to buy the wrong unit if someone has any tips...

Many thanks,
Ago.

I too would love to have pointers regarding recommended type of oven.

In the UK it is very hard to get simple things these days - like a surface top oven with manual controls.

Any ideas would be much appreciated ...

Paul.

I struggled to find anything really apart from this one :

# 1500 watts.
# Ideal for baking and roasting.
# 25 litre capacity mini oven.
# Adjustable thermostat to 250°c.
# 60 minute timer and bell.
# Safety heat resistant glass door.
# Removable grill shelf rack.
# Convection function.
# Rotisserie function.
# Oven pan, grilling rack, crumb tray and tong included.

These also look like they maybe ok - temp etc but I cannot confirm power rating.

JMB Mini oven is very cheap - £25 !!
