Hmmm... I'm having a little trouble downloading build 198 of G8JCF's SDR software. Each time I get a zero length zip file! Any ideas? 73 de Chris G4NUX

I had the same problem and tried the mirror site. This downloaded ok but I then had to go to the manual install page as several files were missing Steveg G8NKN

Mirror site? I've scoured the web pages but can't find any mention of a mirror site. I would be interested to know where that was Steve. Whoops! I've just seen the mirror site link. Stupid boy Smiffy. I must have turned my brain off when I was looking before. Sorry Steve. 73 Chris

Hi Nani, Welcome to the site.
luckily for you the article is free. try to download and study. As you purchase an assembled SDR board, it will work as you set it up and using few softwares like sd radio1.0, you can tune and listen o your PC multimedia. using a proper Aerial of course.
It will be interesting if you are into RF and electronics&radio hobby.

Hi Everybody
Here's a beta version of G8JCFSDR Build 208 which features Drag 'n Tune. To tune the G8JCFSDR using Drag 'n Tune, left mouse press on the grey thumb above the spectrum display and drag it left or right to tune down or tune up.
To install, download, unzip and copy into the same directory where you already have the G8JCFSDR. Then run G8JCFSDR_208.exe.
For those of you with a DRB32 and the ADP USB i/f for the DRB32 - check out the rx selector in config.

Hi Tim
The only thing I can suggest is to clean the registry - it looks like the s/w is trying to initialise the Com port and if U haven't got one, or U've been using a previous version with a serially controlled down-converter, then the s/w will try to use the COM port. Also, try Build 208 which I have uploaded to the forum.
The G8JCFSDR registry entries are under HKCU\software\vb and VBA program settings\g8jcfsdr - try deleting the entry, the SDR will then next time it's run, initialise with default values.
