I've been reading the articles on E-blocks with much interest. They look like the perfect way for an experienced programmer like me to dig deeper into embedded hardware. But I wonder: could I program the PIC given I don't have a Windows machine? I mostly use Linux, SunOS and Solaris on various hardware platforms, and could install MacOS if realy needed. But I gave up on Windows more than 10 years ago. If no programmer software is available I have no problem writing that, but I'm not sure if the protocol is proprietary. It seems rather silly if I'd have to build a separate PIC programmer board... Other than programming the PIC I see no obstacles using E-blocks. Thanks, Martin
