Hi.
Am looking for someone who can write a program for a PIC to read and calculate some variables out of the OBD2 port; nothing to do with diagnostics. I can afford a reasonable fee.
I want the PIC to use the rpm, Vss, injectors firing time readings, and display a 2 digit result calculation from those parameters.

May I ask, which PIC (assume Microchip types) and which language? That is does your application need, say, 'C' or assembler for PIC, and will this interface, via USB or RS232, to a PC?
Sounds interesting!

Hi MikeW.
Any suitable PIC if Microchip;
Any microcontroller of the programmer's preference or expertise;
Any language of the programmer's expertise or choice.
No interfaces, no PC's involved at all. Just a couple of seven-segments digits to display.
It would be really simple, if interested please contact me via : externet at inorbit dot com
Where are you located ?

Did you complete this project or are you still looking, I ran across a module that might already have what you need, check out www.obdpros.com
