Hi All at Elektor.

A little personal background first, if I may.
I have only recently started in electronics ( I am an I.T. professional who began to wonder what was "under the bonnet"). I am currently reading through some electroics texts & working through a maxitronix 300 project pack. I discovered your magazine in Feb 06 & that got me excited about microcontrollers. I notice you also do a book & flash micro starter kit for around £88. This compares with £123 for the explorer-16 pack. What is the best education route for a beginner like myself?

Thank you

my advice would be to start with the Flash Micro kit and the associated book.
