Besides my earlier issue (still open), here are some more:

Power in currently 14V DC, do other V+ have to be connected?

What happens if I use the power socket?

What do the two PIC systems do?

PIC 16F88 already socketted.

PIC 16F877A supplied and fitted by me (with difficulty).

The reset button seems to just restart the PIC (which one?)

What is the ICD2 vs. *USB switch for?

and the *PSU vs. USB?

and the I/O port jumper selection.

Slow vs. *Fast?

*RC vs. XTAL?

(where * indicates the current setting).
