I have built the OBD2 analyser and it seems to start up and work correctly with my Volvo S/V40 98’. But maybe I still have a problem. I wait till the Green Led comes on. I start the scanmaster software. All the "init status" comes up ok The unit appears to communicate with the ECU, but the OBD Type window says “Error”

Protocol comes up as ISO9141-2

I do not get any DTCs (I know there is at least 1 in the ECU)
No much information in the sensor data screen.
Reset count increments

Is something I am doing wrong?
